We are seeking an experienced and independent Video Producer/Business Development Manager to join our team in Malaysia. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned problem solver with a deep understanding of video production and a proven track record in developing business opportunities in this sector.
Develop and implement strategies for lead generation and business development in the video production industry within Malaysia.
Utilize extensive knowledge in producing TV Commercials, Corporate Videos, and Event Coverage to consult and advise potential clients.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring a constant flow of projects.
Present and effectively communicate Vicinity Studio’s capabilities and services to potential clients, including marketing agencies and direct clients.
Manage the entire sales cycle, from initial contact to closing deals and follow-up.
Work closely with the production team to understand project scopes and deliverables, ensuring client needs are met effectively.
Stay abreast of industry trends and market dynamics, leveraging this knowledge to identify new opportunities.
Job Requirement:
Proven experience in business development, particularly in the video production or related media industry.
Strong background in producing TV Commercials, Corporate Videos, and/or Event Coverage.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically.
Proficiency in managing client relationships and developing new business opportunities.
Familiarity with the Malaysian market and its specific needs in video production.
Commissions will be given for projects closed.
